I found a 1991 RX7 GXL that is in pretty good shape and for pretty cheap. but the guy was telling me that it starts up great and if he just lets it idle it dies. he says the motor was rebuilt sometime ago and that it isnt the motor thats making it do it. could it be a fuel pump or electrical? This would be my first car so im just learning so any help would be great. and i tryed to search for it but only thing i found was peoples motors going bad. Im just wondering if i should buy it or not.

dont buy it for a first car, get something else, unless you plan on getting a second car OR you know how to work on cars

 

probabaly vac leak on intake or it could be something else, but if u plan on getting this car for a daily driver, i suggest not and look for a honda or nissan
