I'm an idiot, because I have a car that dont exist

Some guy claiming to have a 20b with a T78 blasted me on another forum because I am an incompotate idiot because I'm gloating about my 86 RX-7 GXL that don't exist. It turns out I have an 87 GXL, because they only made a base, and se in 86 and the GXL wasn't introducted until 87

Wow I never would or known until now!

That's not true. A buddy of mine had an 86 GXL. I've seen/driven it with my own eyes. And I know it was an 86, because it had the fucked up radiator spout.

The Base model in 86-88 was called the SE
in 89 it changed to the GTU, there were no GTUs 86-88

No that is incorrect.

There was a strippy base model available in 86-87 that was called the RX-7

There was also in 86-87 the Luxury coupe (which is often confused with the Base because it too came with 4 lug wheels).

In 88 the base RX-7 was dropped and the Luxury coupe was re-named the SE and became the new base model.

In 89 the SE was upgraded with 5 lug single piston brakes, and was renamed again, the GTU. The 89-90 GTU should be in no way confused with the 88 GTU which was the sport version of the RX-7 in 88.

Maybe this will help you:

Your spelling of grammar is off. Not to mention the incorrect way that you chose to articulate yourself. It's not the grammar that's wrong. It's the spelling.
