Im back!! And my car is almost done!!!

Well its been a long time since I have been on here guys/girls.. Thought you might all like a little up date on my car..

89 ser 5 RX7 turbo.
13BT, mild ported, 3mm seals, full dowling.

T04B with a 132 rear housing H trim wheel, 0.70 front with a P trim wheel = 500hp turbo.

Turbo smart 45mm race gate.

Trust front mount cooler with 2 1/2 inch alloy pipe work.

K&N pod filter.

10.5mm sparkplug leads.

550cc primary and 880cc secondary injectors.

Holley red lift pump, Bosch 044 700hp EFI pump, 1.5ltr alloy surge tank, malpassi rising rate fuel reg.

Micro-Tech MT-8 computer.

5 puck sprung button clutch, short/qik shifter fitted to box.

A few more things done that my brain cant think of as yet.

I made 309.2rwHP on 13.2psi @ 6400rpm.

All that needs doing now is dropping the 880cc injectors into the primary holes and a set of 1000cc injectors in the secondary's.

After that well over 380rwHP will be easy...

Here is a pic of it on the dyno getting tuned...

More pics of the engine and set up as soon as I take them..

Cheers,
Rob...

Got anymore pics...say closer up of the engine bay? I'm interesting in seeing where the IC pipes go around the radiator and the TB inlet. I'm getting ready to start fabbing up my FMIC and need some ideas. I was going to run the pipes through the hole (inlarged ofcourse) that the battery box vent used to use and through the area where the fuel pump resistor was.

Susupention mods....

All that is done to hold my car on the road is a set of KINGS lowered springs and KYB shocks all round. I also have a strut brace up the front. Yes the car handles like its on rails.

It is a little soft in the rear end and sometimes you feel it going round hard corners. But it wasnt set up as a track car or a drag car.. Its a daily driver and is used for both on weekends

Why so big a turbine housing? I think things would work much, much better with a .96 A/R exhaust. MUCH MUCH MUCH better torque curve and probably no loss in power

That's what I've got, seems to work nicely

The reason for the bigger rear was so it could be driven off boost under 4000rpm and also with the motor being mild ported I can make power all the way out to 8000rpm as soon as I get the larger injectors.

Even under 4000rpm I still make upto 5psi of boost.

I was looking at dropping down to a 114 rear housing to make it come on boost a little sooner, but I am happy with the car for now and how it goes.

As for you guys that want my car.. it is for sale ATM. Im sure if you want to come get it and pay me the moneys, its all yours.
