Ignition troubles

Allright, we got the FC back to its new home and we're starting to diagnose some of its problems. Currently it will not start. It cranks fine, but we are getting no spark. I have checked the coils and the crank position sensor and they are both fine, it cranked once, extremely briefly when we went to look at it, so it hs to be something that can fail and/or be intermittant easily. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Wiring? ECU? I've been studying the wiring diagrams, but my father is the electronics expert, not me.

Thanks guys.

Take you battery and alternator to AutoZone and have them tested. I'm guessing you need a more powerful new battery for the cold weather.

It should not be the alternator or battery. I have no idea about the condition of the alt, but I am charging this battery ouside of the car so it does not matter. As for the battery, it spins the motor over much better than the battery that we started it on the one time it started when I went to buy it, so i would say that if anything it is better charged than it needs to be.

Bear in mind when I say no spark, I mean NONE - take spark plug out and put against block - nothing. stick finger into spark plug wire end - nothing. Sting finger into coil! Nothing.
