I know that you can add an msd ignition to an 88 NA. I also know that you need two boxes and it is like seven hundred almost for the whole set up. Does anyone know how it compares to the jacobs ignition setup for like three and change.

Also is it needed with a street ported 13B with full exhaust, port and polished intake manifold, and 720cc injectors.

 

its not needed.. but always recommended with the more mods you do.. i would save up and get the Jacobs.. it is better stronger and made for the rotary. i have heard not one bad thing from it.. and the whole setup should cost you around $700.. unless you are buying 2 MSD boxes for the leading and trailing!

 

sorry i didnt read the whole post... you dont need 2 boxes.. most ppl just put them on the leading plugs and that is good enough

 

So, does anybody have them on both Leading and Trailing? How has It worked for you/them?

 

I heard it can get expenisive as you need one on the leading and 1 each on the trailing
