Maybe, there are two condensers, one for the ignition and one on the same circuit as the oil pressure sensor kind of near the sensor attached to the engine or tranny. This could be either one.

I do believe they are the same actual part number. The ignition condensor is under the trailing coil.

Autozone/checker/napa help section. Condensors are a more or less universal part..

Be careful what you call an "ignition condensor"...

That term was used for distributors with points.
http://www.type2.com/library/electrip/ignwor.htm

The FC uses magnetics triggers and is basically a direct-fire type of ignition system.

The part is technically a damping capacitor.
Note, "condensor" and "capacitor" are interchangable.

The part is to damp oscillation caused by the trailing ignition toggle.

Crap, 0 for 2 on what could be missing on my no-start issue Next I guess I'll check and make sure my coils are grounding well enough since I painted them.

Why are you jumping in everyone else's threads?

The coil bodies need to be grounded.
They normally ground through the aluminum bracket.
If you painted these, I'd suggest to scrape the paint off or add an additional grounding path.

I thought it would have been obvious from my first post that I thought it could be related. I don't exactly have hundreds of engine installs under my belt so I've been looking for issues that could be related to me forgetting to install something that was required for spark. This one came up on the SEARCH I DID so I posted in here to see if it was a possibility. Then someone replied, so I replied back. Maybe I misunderstand how a forum is supposed to be used. I didn't see anything about it when I READ THE FAQ.
