ignition coils ?

will NA ignition coils work on a TII?

I have an 88 TII and i think the ignition coils are bad. I have some one selling me some NA coils cheap. Will the work?

yep

not 100% sure if its a direct ift or not...i have a na one on my TII, but i might have had to modify its mounting bracket or something...i dont remember.

there are lots of threads and writeups on checking tps to see if its good or not. what you do is use a multimeter to check the resistance between the vref and signal wires as you move the plunger slowly in. i dont remember the numbers and stuff, but a quick search should ge them for you.

you cant just put it in and be done, you have to adjust it after its in... the thread with the procedure above should also include a description of how to do that.
