You can't really tell if a side seal or apex is gone with piston type testers.

These threads are all the same....
A Tested Jspec purchased from a knowledgeable Rotary person will yield you plenty off use..

Just ask Rob a.k.a FC3S91
Buy a good motor, install it correctly, and down the road you go!

Jspec motor on the DYNO, 1/4 mile, Autocross

Disclaimer: I am not here to make a sale to this member, if he decide to buy from me great, if not that is fine too..Doesnt really matter to me.. Been on the Atkins website lately?? Offering rebuilds and also selling tested/confimed Jspecs now... They are a bit higher in price then me, but they are offering them...this obviously means something..

VGmotors a great motors man. I actuallly just bought my daily driver. And it has a vg30e. =D I trust that engine over any other crap. It is a 70,000 mile 91 maxima SE 5spd.

NOw i can concentrate building my 7 correctly. I decided to go jdm without a rebuild. I really need some track time. Plus i wont put to many miles on my baby now that i have the VG DD.

Few rebuild seals... = about 1400 +-

SO i have 2 choices. WHich would be more reliable? They would both end up about the same price.

JApan2LA w/ no rebuild or
Rebuilt cheaper JDM. I could streetport it too with cheapo 35$ pineapple template.

Um..... Buy a jspec from japan2la or atkins. They will guarantee compression. For the thousanth ******* time, buying from a **** company will yield unusable housings and/or rotors most of the time. Best case is seal damage and low compression. Doesnt seem worth it to me.
