Dude, Jesse did what he is paid to do. Whoever decided to race a sports-car against a couple of OHVs is the one that needs a boot in the ***. I feel sorry for his crew, who had to tackle a practically impossible mission.

I doubt you're gonna say anything to the guy. You'll see him and realize that you'll just look really stupid if you say anything to criticize his show. He was not happy to fail, but I think this is one of the most memorable episodes ever.

If someone can get the hook-ups, I'd join a crew to build a sand-rail out of an RX-7 in 3 days with a 3k budget. Who wants to front the money?

I think it could have been possible with the following plan:

Back-half the car
Dual mud/sand tires instead of one.
Weight Redux (one seat, no dash, no AC or mix motors, etc.)
Higher final-drive ratio
LSD
50 shot nitrous.
The same air struts for front.

tru jesse did what he was paid to do and the fate of the car was sealed but it was still interesting to see them try. the sad part was the mazda "parts" guy that didnt know how to install the nitrous. that hurt. but oh well a show to learn from like jesse said it.

Plenty of members have verts here, what's with all the vert bashing? This forum is supposed to be a community supporting RX-7's not a hate group. I've had several RX-7's over the years including a vert. Plenty of good things about them that you should check into before you make remarks for all.
