Well, it's resale value just went to 0; so if there are no problems, then just keep it. My friend had a Topaz ( I know, I know ) that he bent the frame on, drove it around for years. It's not a safety issue at all. As long as it drives, no major wobble, then drive it till it pops.

aight thanks man i have the uh-oh feeling aha its been years since ive had that i love my car and worked my *** off for it and one night of stupidy gets me here the reason i know its slightly bent is cause i was told to run my hand down the hatch to see if the joint between the hatch and the body start either coming together or run apart and i ran my finger right to left and it started to move farther away and when i pop my hatch and move to just about to where it closes you can see the hatch is a little closer to the right of the body then where it should be : ( ill save and get another one!!

That's probably because your BODY is tweaked, not your hatch. My friend Brandon ( 1991GXL ) got hit in the drivers quarter-panel, and his hatch still opened... you just have to pull the spoiler out of the way. Give the hatch some tough love, and it should pop open... getting it shut on the other hand...

You could get it put on a frame machine and get it straightened back out most likely.I got rear ended a year and a half ago.It pushed the rear of my car into the hatch so far it wouldn't open. There was a gap you could stick your finger in up by the quarter panel and my driver's side door didn't shut just right. The ins.I got a friend with a good body shop that fixxed it for me.He put it on a frame machine and straightened it out.Said he had fixxed worse.Everything shuts fine now and the gaps seem to be even. It's just a matter of if you got the money it can probably it can probably be fixxed by a good body shop.

hahaha

I put my fiero backwards into a ditch on a gravel road once
sign says 25kph
I was doing about 120

came within inches of a tree
after I got her stopped, I put her in 1st and gunned it out (was a shallow ditch), and drove for a mile through a field till I could get on the road... then continued on my merry way, with a big stupid grin on my face

topaz' are fun, but not durable enough...
