If my egts and a/f stay normal i will never pop my motor?
i have a 86 with s5 ported n/a.
i have wideband and egt.
here is my consern.
Lots of people state that egt is great to motor ignition advance.
running too much advance=egt temp? How does egt temp relate to early ignition spark?
Im thinking that spark before full compression will result in high temp, because ur compressing already ignited mixture.
ignition to much retard=higher egt
running lean=higher egt
running rich=higher egt.
