If I had the wrong impedance injecotors
What would happen if I were to install the wrong impedance injectors? Would it work at all? I did some searching and could not find anything on this specifically.
So what is the major symptom of the wrong impedance injecotors?

Running low-impedence injectors on a harness that was running high-impedence injectors WILL burn out the injector driver in the ECU.
Running high-impedence injectors on a harness that was running low-impedence injectors might or might not run.
At least this combination will not harm anything.
There is a reason why Mazda key'd the harness plugs so you don't do this accidently.

i recently did an engine R&R, i put a 87 engine + harness that had low impedance injectors into my 88.
i installed the high impedance injectors from my 88 engine by filing down the tab on the injectors to accept the low-imp injector connector from the harness.
then i crimped together the wires that connect the resistor pack to the injectors, BAM! everyone's happy.
