One: That the EQ9's spark plugs on the leadings were worn out too far (gap was way big, even though he says the plugs only had 10K on them)
Two: That there is a bad connector or above normal resistance in the TPS to ECU wiring, and even though two different TPSs (including one from my car with only 40K on it) and a new one, were set perfect (1k at 0 throttle- 5.5k+ at WOT), there was enough resistance at the ECU to change that setting.
Three: That his old injectors were dirty enough that it increased the surge as the ECU was trying to compinsate and jumping the timing (remember that the BAC and AWS were already disconnectec in testing- ruling out the ECU surging the BAC as often happens with a out of spec TPS). Luckly I had a spare sent of matched injectors for a non turbo motor that I am building to put into my vert when I sell it.

Speaking of idling and TPS's, I adjusted the small screw on top of my intake manifold..I can't remember the name for the world, but I had a friend put it in drive with his foot on the brakes, thus, making the idle drop. I took a flathead, and turned the screw to open up.....something, since I can't remember the names for it, to make my idle go up whenever I'm in drive and stopped at a light. Well, when I turn the screw, the idle doesn't change, why is that? My idle changed when i went to Carl (RX7Carl), who did a compression test, and adjusted the screw on my Distributor, since the previous owner moved it from it's original spot. Is it best that I put it in park and adjust the idle? Should I do it when the engine is cold, or when it's warmed up?
And....I apologize for thread jacking with this small series of questions.

My injectors were cleaned when I put the engine in about 10k or less miles ago... plugs were changed then too.
And I went out today and started my car...
And the surge is completely gone. So. I dunno. Mystery surge I guess... if it comes back I'll try messing with it more.

The surge comes back randomly now... and I finally had a chance to get under the hood tonight and readjust the TPS.
Now here is what I found out... I realized that the TPS adjustment screw is really WEIRD.
Basically, with the way that screw works... doing the TPS with the ohm meter is anti-intuition... it's really weird.
So the way to do it is definately with the lights.
Whether this fixed the problem or not, we'll find out tomorrow morning.
I also just started a new tank of gas today, so I'll see what it does to gas mileage.
I'll update when I know... I'm expecting the surge to be gone... and this is the only thing I've done to the car lately. (Well... on an unrelated note... I don't have an exhaust tip on the right side of the car... long story... f'ing crappy stock exhaust... I seriously need something new... ANYHOW, it didn't effect the surge thing heh. I also have video of the surging... but who knows if I'll upload that or not ;P)

Update:
Surge is gone, adjusting the TPS with the lights is pretty much the way to go as far as I'm concerned now.
Can't say what effect on the gas mileage, I noticed I can smell a leak of fuel from somewhere... very slight and only when cold, but I think it's the secondary injectors (under manifold) somehow... le sigh. It's nothing too major... but no doubt killing my gas mileage.
