Idle Trouble
My cars idle bounces back and forth between 500 and 1000. It started this after launching my car as if i were running a 1/4 mile i took off my air flow sensor and repositioned it and its idleing OK now but still bounces every once in a while, I think i have a bad battery, could that be the cause of the bouncy idle? Any other ideas?

Since rotary engines have very little low end torque, it takes very little load to upset the idle speed.
The main idle control part is the BAC.
I would pull it, clean it, & check it's connections first.

not a battery- you probably loosened up a hose somewhere while you were playing with the AFM, got a vac leak? check for air leak sounds, spray carb cleaner around anything you might have moved, etc...

No vacuum leaks i'm sure of that and checked very well. Where and what is the BAC if anyone thinks that it might be something just being dirty i wouldn't doubt it, my car was bought by people who lived near alot of dirt and now has been less than 200 yards from the ocean for like 3 years
