have 10th anv model that has v mount ic and new koyo rad and 255 walbro as its only mods the bac has been deleted and the cars idle surges between 1k and 2k and after 3800 in all gears it falls on its face pulls fine up till then
the wastegate hasn't been ported

someone please reply this is a repeated thread cause i didn't get any replys on the last one

 

1) For the idle surge, first make sure the TPS is correctly set. Then set the idle speed to 750 rpm (engine fully warm)

2) For the 3800 rpm problem, do a search on 3800 rpm hesitation or something like that. There have been many discussions on this topic and there could be any number of problems that cause it, like clogged secondary injectors and even poor grounds. Do some homework

 

mine did the same thing it was my intake manifold gasket idles right at 1000 when cold and between 300-800rpms now perf comp. nice lil lumpy sound
