Idle And Smoking Issues Vanish, Thanks

Previous post high idle start up to 5-6 thou rpms, and excessive white smoke from exhaust. Problems solved thanks to all your *** chewing for my rudeness, thanks, I deserved it, and advice. After 50 thou more threads read, ran all tests. First cleaned TB, and made adj. to throttle plates.TPS, BAC,AWS,AFM,CRANK ANGLE, AND ON , and on. TPS needs replaced soon, WOT 5900. Replaced plugs, wires, oil, filter, air filter, coolant temp sensor, coolant level sensor, fuel filter, and finally O-2 sensor. Noticed that the , I believe its called, high idle adj screw had vibrated down, and thus the throttle prob. Photo, I hope, shown. Runs like a top, no hesitation, no high idle, NO SMOKE, AT ALL, and idle after warm up a very, very, very, steady 1000, little high, but Im cool now. Thanks for all the help.

The Dog p.s. Is the high idle adj screw suppose to have a jam nut on it? Really loose, explains it walking. Thanks all. Sons 16th B-day on thursday is now going to be something else. I cant give Daphne up now, she purrs.

Yes, the throttle (plate) stop screw normally has a jam nut on it.
It looks like it fell off.
