Idle question
K so on my new car, immediately after startup, the idle drops to about 500 for a couple of secs, and raises back to 750 and stays rock steady at 750.
How do I prevent this? Its not misfiring, shaking or anything, just the idle drops low RIGHT after warm startup.

My wife's '91 NA does the same thing when it's warm. When it's cold it immediately revs to about 2800 and then drops to about 1000 until it warms up. Then it goes back down to 750 and purrs like a kitten. I'm interested in hearing about this also. I just assumed that it was partially flooded and maybe idling on the rich side for a while when it was warm. We have had no flooding problems, but it does do that low idle thing on a regular basis.
