idle problems
my car Idles fine for about 30 secs and then the tach drops and it dies.... Someone Suggested I get new spark plugs because they might be fouled... It runs sorta ruff at low speed and kind of pops. The same guy suggested it was a miss... Does this sound good or should i take it to a mechanic??? or any other suggestions?

Its not ignition...
FIRST:
Pull all engine codes.
Please check all your sensors and valves.
Specifically the vacuum valves at the front driver side of the engine.
Also, the TPS should be checked (but do this last).
Somthing is opening the intake system to atmosphere when it dies.
Place a vaccum guage on the Cruise control "T" behind the thermowax.
watch the guage.
its reading should drop dramatically one fraction of a second before the car dies.
this is reason to check all the things that control air intake to the intake system.
Let me know if im right.
