Idle option will it work help!!

So here's the problem I recently changed the ecu and blocked everything off with block off plates now the car won't keep an idle Also I installed a front mount the car is an 88 turbo 2. Now what I was thinking would a manual boost control work as an air control valve if installed threw a vacuum hose and also cleaned up the rats nest. Has anyone done this or think it would work in theory I think it will but would like to hear opinions on the matter. Thanks for everyone time! Here is what I have

#2: what is that manual boost controller supposed to do function wise? How would it control air..to what??

Instead of generalizing how about explaining how the idle behaves. Does it act this way only cold or cold and warmed up? What did you block off? Did you block off the BAC, which is not an emission item. Did the car idle properly before you worked on the car, and if so, what is stopping you from returning it to a normal state.
