idle issue on my t2

All stock t2 motor with lightened flywheel and I start it and it sits at 2,000rpm's and after it warms up it kicks down to 1500rpms. and its a steady idle at 1500. Help me out thx

Check the throttle cable, timing and the fast idle mechanism. If you can press upwards on the front throttle linkage and it lowers the idle then that should tell you something.

Vacuum leaks, BAC idle speed adjuster, decel dashpots holding the throttle open.
Lastly, the idle speed adjuster on throttle body (throttle plate shaft stop)
