So I haven't been able to idle cold because my Advanced warm up valve thing is off the car and the wires are broken off. I currently have the BAC hooked up (jankedy) however that only affects the accessories with the stock ECU, or at least thats all i've observed.
I decided today to try wiring the BAC valve to open as the Cold start idle valve. I took my broken off cold start wires and connected them to the BAC blue connector. However currently the car is warm and i don't think the car will try to use it. While I wait for the car to cool I thought I'd ask the forum what will happen when I start it.
Whats gonna happen with the BAC valve is hooked up to the AWS connector?

I'm thinking... fail. The AWS only operates in a narrow temperature range. It was more for an emissions thing. It's better to have the BAC functioning, as it should, than the AWS. I recommend you put the wires back to their respective valves...
The AWS is toast. That is why I jerry rigged this setup. Also the BAC doesn't keep my engine from dying so there is no point in keeping it hooked up normally. I'm just trying to get this thing to cold-idle until i get my Megasquirt.
EDIT
Have you verified the BAC even works? Hit it with 12V off the battery and see if it opens.

Yup I did. However when the idle is getting ready to stall the ECU doesn't send anything to the BAC really. I watched it with a voltmeter and it went from 12v to 11.5v right as the car was dying. Probably because the car was not producing any electricity then.
