Idle

Ok what should my car idle at (88 NA) right now it idles at 700 (+/- 50 rpms) Now when I turn on the air it stays about the same, when I turn on the A/C it drops down to about 500 and almost stalls then jumps up to 850 and down to 650 and keeps going up and down. I know the A/C puts a little more strain on the motor but should it jump that much?

Ok I just want to see if this is still the BAC, I've been moving so I just went and started the car yesterday and it idled up to 3000 rpms for a bit and when it went down to 1500 that only lasted for a second and then they dropped and it died
