idle?

i did a search but my symptoms are totally different anyways after driving my GTU for 10-15 minutes(i guess thats when its fully warmed up) the powersteering goes out and i start to get rough idle i guess it feels like its gonna die out but idle jumps back up....and when i give it some gas it'll idle a lil over 1k then slowly rough idle again...

Sounds to me like you might have two problems. The first is the power steering going out on you. I can't help you with that one. The second is the poor idle after initial warm-up. If you've gone through the procedure of setting the TPS and the idle speed, the next thing you should look at is the function of the BAC valve. It's purpose is to keep the idle even under various loads, like power steering and air conditioning. If the BAC gets stuck (happens frequently) or fails altogether, your idle will freak out. So, give the BAC valve a complete check out.

I've owned 2 N/A's....a S5 and now an s4, and both have had a BAC valve. Check the factory service manual under the fuel section.

ok my mistake its not rough idle its more like when the car is warmed up after 10-15 minutes of driving my idle drops slowly til it hits zero and jumps back up sometimes even die out...when i give it a lil gas it'll idle back lilover 1k then atfer drving and stop slowly drops....i check my BAC, TPS, compression they seem to be ok..can this be a exhaust leak one of my muffler is rusted out til the tip fell off somewhere i was waiting til i have enough money for a corksport muffler to change it or can it be my loose belts i have one loose belt the one closes to the battery.
