i swapped s5 idiot light cluster into my s4 assuming they would work since they plugged right in but the when i got low on gas my washer fluid light came on... should i switch them back or is there a way to make them work, aka rewire?

 

It would need to be entirly rewired... there is not a single wire that stays in the same spot.

Also the S5 idiot lights have circuits built into them that CPU does in the S4 models.

Your best bet is if you like the S5 style get a 88 model idiot light/clock panel.
