Idiot Light Problems
My clock on my idiot light cluster flickers in and out and doesnt keep time very well. Does anyone know what may be wrong w/ it? Could the connection need to be re-soldered? Should I replace the entire cluster? All the other gauges work on the cluster(door ajar, hatch, ebrake, oil level, etc)

it's caused by cold solder joints, I have this problem and I took apart the idiot pannel to check, but I couldent find the solder points, I would suggest just replacing it with a working unit. but if you dont have one handy then rip it apart and re-solder it.

mine does the same... when its (the idiot light cluster) pushed back into the holding cradle, the clock goes out. when i pull it out a little, clock turns on. i thought it was solar powered or something (haha), but it must be in the joints. i've yet to take it apart but it doesnt bother me too much.
let us know what happens.

The other problem that can cause this is a loose connection on the top of the Alt. The idiot lights all come on when there is a problem with the Alt.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
If the idiot lights are coming on, but the clock works fine then it is the alt or CPU.
But if the clock is intermitent then it is the clock warning panel.
I have most of the clock warning panels in stock already rebuilt at my webstore, or can rebuild your's for you.
