I have an S5 vert and was sold the wrong taillights. gotta love ebay. Can someone please ID these for me, ie which year and bodystyle will they fit? I am looking to sell them and need to know how to describe them . Also, what is the going rate for them?

 

They're S4 tails. If they are actually vert tails they'll only fit S5 and S4 verts.

 

They are probably S4 Vert tail lights came with 88verts. for JDM junkies (Zenki)

 

and euro coupes

 

They appear to be a perfectly good set of S4 tails, from the size of them Im going to say coupe tails as well. Perfectly suited to puttign on any s4 or s5 except the verts.

 

S4 tails aren't worth too much, not much of a demand for them.

Damn, did you buy those new? They're in great condition.

Do you still have the tails you're trying to replace? I'd match them up to see if they're the same size or not.

 

so there is no misunderstanding (all of you saying they are coupe lights)

they are convertible lights........ coupe lights are longer, they look the same, but are longer!

 

I think we have winner! They are the right size to fit my S5 vert, but dont look the same.

They aren't new, but have been polished up and are in great condition.

I bought them for around 200 bucks, i am hoping i can recoup some of that.....

 

why the hell did you buy s4 tails? no offense and you might actually like the s4's better... but that was a waste of money to me... 3 things i cant stand on the rx7 are the s4 tailights, stock orange guages (BLAH), and black moulding!!!!!!! but they might suit you... you could have gotten s5 tails for the same price

 

because they were represented as S5 tails. my passenger tail has a small chunk taken out of it and i have been trying to replace it forever.

 

was there a pic when yoou bid on them, if not id fight it saying they were misrepresented and you want a refund, you got taken, im not sure of the going rate one S4 vert lights but regular S4 lights arent worth jack, you would be lucky for 20-25 bucks, you wont be near your 200 mark

Man... You need to talk to the seller. s4 tails can go for around $50, s5's closer to $150-200.

 

Guess im the only one here who prefers a clean set of s4's over s5's.

 

holy **** those are really nice S4 tails. second or third on the vert tails though. they're too short for coupes. I'd talk to the seller though. Even in that condition you won't get the biggest sucker in the world to pay over $100 for those.

 

idk. those are brand new. someone is alwase gonna look for a set of those. id keep em.

Yea you'll defenitly get something for them considering how new they look. Even though they are S4, someone will buy them if the price is right.
