Any better pics? Looks like it could be a sport, but the mirrors are the same color as the body. Also the front wheel's on backwards.

The seats had integral headrests in the GTU and separate in the GXL. They look separated in the pic, so I'm saying GXL.

Looks like a sport, by the front and rear underneath spoiler package. Course they could of been added at a later time.

I have those rims on my 88GTU....and I can't quite make it out but I would put money on that sticker on the side saying GTU.

Its an 88 GTU, but it has the wheels from and 86-87 GXL or Sport. All 88 15" wheels were polished, not painted. I would ask what happened to the original wheels. You can tell its a GTU because of the GTU spoiler, the aero package and the TII seats with integrated head rests.

I'd agree with the 88 GTU. The rear spoiler and black aero pieces on the bottom tip you off.

GXL's don't have the aero pieces and they are hard to come by in good shape, especially the ones under the bumper.

The wheels may be correct. The picture is bad, the wheels may be dirty, and some people don't understand that "mag wheel cleaner" will eat through the factory clear coat and destroy the finish on the wheels.

Also, the 88 GTU came with color-keyed mirrors as shown in the picture, while the GXL had black mirrors.

Also, Sports do not have any markings like the GTU and GXL.
