identify this connector

It is a two-prong male connector (two large flat metal prongs/tabs), right above the clutch pedal (between the clutch pedal and body of car).

anyone have any idea what this connector is for? i just noticed now it is unplugged.

i would post a pic but my camera is away for repair.

sounds liek the clutch switch.. not to be confused with the interlock.. what that clutch switch does i cant tell you .. i know it messes with the idle i think its more emissions centered...
