Ideas on when a lean condition could occur.
If your running a stock port S4 with headers, and a ported S5 intake, I assume the engine would start to run lean around 7000 rpms.
Anybody have any ideas when lean could occur?
I know the real way to check is on a dyno with a wide band, but that is expensive here where I live.
I was looking for a general rpm that the 550 injector would run out, as I am shooting for 8500 rpm limit/ Power limit, with the added 5th & 6th injectors activated @ VDI opening, via a RPM switch. I may use a set switch for a lower activation, if lean would occur before 6500?
What do you think?
Thanks
Levi

Dude, ,wait for the dyno... my N/a actually got richer, I mean like below 11 on the wideband as it hit 7.5... Most guys use SAFC's to take fuel OUT of the N/A's after the exhaust is opened up....

You seen keen to dump massive amounts of fuel in, but there's no way you're going to need it. With stock ports you're not going to get near the limit of the stock 460cc/min injectors, and if you added a fuel controller and had it dyno-tuned you'd actually pick up power by leaning out the conservative (i.e. rich) factory mixtures.
