I think the general concensus is that cleared tail lights would be a bad idea.
I liked them for about a week and went back to being ok with all the stock turn signals and taillights. I think cleared corners and turn signals are actually illegal in MN. I remember my brother getting a ticket for something along those lines awhile back.

2. I taped off the circles and back up lights, then sprayed a light tint on the tail lights.
3. I then sprayed the whole tail lights (except back up lights) with "clear" red paint.
4. lots of clear coat
5. buffed out the lights
here is a close up pic (looks better in person)

You could just paint the amber part of the tail lights red but the shade of red would not match the rest of the tail light. so I opted to spray the whole tail light. I then got the idea of painting the frames red and blending it in with the rest of the lights.
I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out ... and S5 tail lights aren't cheap. Yes, .... It was a lot of work but I'm pretty happy how they turned out.

When the lights are "lit up" they look the same as any other S5 .... except now the turn signals are red instead of amber.
The red over-powers the amber and the light is "red" not "orange-red" ... I'm guessing that is why you want to see a pic with the lights on?....
Also ... The paint is candy apple red. it is a clear red that is meant to be sprayed over a silver base coat.

I also dont like it when people put on their brakes or turn signal and all I see are clear white lights, like they are getting ready to back up or something.

I'm saying clear turn signal lenses in the back. WITH YELLOW BULBS (or silvervisions, which is still yellow when lit)! The red brake part would still be red. As long as you have the yellow bulb its legal!

While your at it buy you a new 5 foot spolier, loud *** fart can and some cheap *** auto zone/sears wheels. Seeing as how you want to be like "them" go buy yourself a honda civic or integra...then you wont have to make them...you can buy them. Clear "euro" lights on an FC is a bad idea, ****ing with your lights period is a bad idea

Try a hobby shop. Look for car model "transparent" paint, sometimes called car model tinting paint. That's what I used (but black) for my tail lights of my SUV. The light shines through just fine. Make sure you do clearcoat though, it peels off over time if you dont.
Btw, the brand for the black "transparent" paint I used was called Testors Transparent Black Paint.
