i think most people would agree with me when i say that taillights look much better with clear turn signal lenses instead of yellow.

well i was at the junkyard the other day and i saw a pair of broken S5 tails. upon closer inspection, it appears that under the yellow turn signal lense there is a clear plastic lense.

so, has anyone taken the yellow lense from their S5 tails? if so how did it look?
it seems to me that it would look a lot more modern.

 

Or I could not look like every Integra driven by someone in their late teens early twenties .

Seriously though I think this may be a little too rice for most people's taste but hey give it a try! You never know. I just see way too many cars with whited out/clear turn lamps and I think it looks kinda stupid. But I would love you to prove me wrong. Give a try! Good luck!

Oh come on. It's not JDM please don't start calling leaving your car stock JDM. It's just "not a bunch of fugly clear lights from a company that doesn't produce any real performance products" how's that?

 

how can you say that? look at the newer BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, etc. you can honestly say that the slightly older amber cornered versions of these cars look better?

i mean whatever floats your boat but i'm curious to see if you really think that way.

I’m not saying ambers being "In" is what u have to like. That’s why I quoted “JDMish" because don't tell me u didn’t notice all the hondas (not that this is strictly a honda thing) and such cars that used to have clear corners convert to amber, to look the part. And I didn’t mean the rx7 is jdm for leaving it stock I simply meant it’s the same concept.

Not sure how V8 did it, but we made my friends 240 tail lights all red with Stain Glass Spray Paint. It comes in red, blue, yellow, and green i think.. maybe a couple more. Just put a nice coat of red over the entire tail light.

 

Well, I think the clear tail lights look lame!
I also dont like it when people put on their brakes or turn signal and all I see are clear white lights, like they are getting ready to back up or something.
