IAT sensor?

Ok, I'm like 99.999% done my engine swap (FINALLY!), but I can't find the wire that connects to the intake air temperature sensor. Which harness/where does this wire come from? If I STILL can't find it is it vital? Why the hell are these cars so complicated!

Thanks!

hey, i think it located on the same wiring harness that goes to the starter and i think the oil sending unit too. on my car theres like 3 or 4 hook ups on that one harness. my iat sensor has a white connector. see if that helps. if not sorry ive only pulled an rx7 motor 3 or 4 times.

I'm pretty sure it's run off near the solonoid connectors, it's a white rectangular plug, not very easy to miss.

The FSM wiring diagrams have harness diagrams at the back that make this sort of stuff easy.

The intake air temp sensor is on the same branch of the emission harness as the TPS and the knock sensor. Following the wires from the TPS back would probably be easiest.
