i want my head lights to "wink"

i want my head lights to "wink"

ive been looking everywhere to try to figure out how to make my head lights flip up at separate times. i cant figure it out! all i need is a 1-2 sec. delay on the passenger head light . if it helps i have a 86 rx7
any help would be greatly appreciated. mods please move the thread if its in the wrong section.

I know a guy who would do that in a crappy prelude he had by just switching them on and off real fast it would make the lights do that. Probably the same with the 7 because if you notice the first time both lights go up at the same time then they start to go separate but I would be scared of breaking them.

There is the stock switch u can just keep flipping. Its the same with the 240s. My friend wired my head light to a different switch so I could make either head light wink whnever I wanted to.

Or you can order these parts from DigiKey and build this simple circuit. It uses a standard 555 timer IC.

I'm not too familiar with the FC headlight control, but I'd imagine that you could just put this in series with the power going to the headlight (S1).

thanks so much!!! i got it down pat lol every time i cut the car off i practice lol my girlfriends always complaining that it takes to long for me to get out of the 7 lol

first gen dsm's also do that... sure it looks cool, but why do you wanna wear out your headlight motors?
