I want a 12 sec Turbo II

I orginally posted this in the performance section, but they suggested to post it here.

What will it take, both parts and money wise to get a Turbo II into the 12 sec range. I'm in Denver so we are about a full second slower here than at sea level.

well depends on how much money you have. you can just get a haltach+big *** turbo+lots of fuel and you got your self a fast car. but actually it shouldnt be that hard if you have the money to do it. you can maybe do it on stock ECU with full 3" exhaust remove all emissions, injectors, upgrade turbo, and other basic things

Cuz at first you think 12 is going to be fast enough, then you realize that you want to run 10s, then you spend all the money trying to break into the 9's. Its a never ending vicious cycle.
But honestly a upgraded turbo (like a BNR Hybrid), SAFC, bigger injectors, full 3in Exhaust, maybe a FMIC or HMIC ans ome tuning should get you there. You will need a few more basic things like TID and what not, but it shouldn't be all that hard.

Ok you are my new idol I love the car, and the times are great. What exactly is done to the turbo? Streetport/bridgeport? Weight reduction?

Oh yeah and as far as getting to the 12 second range, its really not that hard. First of all you would have to do the already mentioned steps, like going with a full 3 inch exaust, bigger injectors, front mount intercooler, remove accesories from the engine, a fuel controller, then you would erally need to upgrade the stock turbo becuae ive never seen ppl go into the 12's with our stock turbos. Its almost impossible.
Id say a good 5k should get you there.

I plan on getting the same setup. I don't like the RE sides either and those match up very well. What RE spoiler? Not an aluminum one is it? I also wanted to get the bomex rear.

i still have my afm, what i did was put a wide band on it and check it if it was running rich or lean, and shes staying perfect, i owe chrissanders all the credit for putting it to gether and doing the tuning, look him up hes half of what u would pay at other places email at chrissanders@netzero.com and he has lots of parts for sale..
