I ' tried every thing.......
The car just won't start! I put the enbine in my gxl from another gxl that was crashed and put in the the backyard. I pick the car up for free and now that I got it in it won't start. I have tried starting fliud, atf, new spark plugs, have checked to make sure that it has fuel, spark, and compression, I even pulled the car with a truck and it will only pop and turn off. I have also noticed that the plugs foul very fast after cranking an it looks like oil and gas. I'am loseing sleep over this!! Please help!!

Im sure you're aware that you can't bump in this section.
You checked compression? what were your results?
Was the CAS ever removed (meaning do you think the timing is set correctly?)
Its possible it could have just been severly flooded and you didn't take the de-flooding procedure far enough. Try pulling the EGI fuse and squirt a tad of ATF in the spark plug holes and rotate the motor to try to restore as much compression as possible before starting it. Finally, crank the motor over with the EGI fuse pulled until you get a couple of coughs, then put it in and give it a whirl....

When I put the CAS I set it at the yellow mark on the pulley and lined up the marks on the gear and sensor, then just slide it in right? Haven't put a compression gauge yet but plan on doing it. When it turns over you can hear each side blowing out air when the spark plugs are off. I'am going to try the atf again.
