I thought S5 NA had a 8krpm redline cluster? wtf [pic]

I wanted to swap out my S5TII cluster for a NA cluster....

I happened to find a cluster that looks good and almost teh same miles as my car.

But I thought the S5 NA clusters were a 8K rpm redline. Maybe it was out of an auto?

My S5 cluster was red at 8 and went to 9....that's weird.

I just looked at the 1991 parts fiche....

There are two different tachs listed for NA....its gotta be from an autobox.

Yep, Auto's redlined at 7K. What I don't know is; did the turbo's redline at 8K?

Does it have all the automatic gears listed on the tach and a hold light?
