I was thinking about those ebay resistors.

i just read what one of them said and it said that it advanced the timing and tricking the ecu thinking the air is colder, but on a modded car would that really help. you have everything running perfect and then you go and advance the timing on it, wouldnt that mess everything up when you have the timing set just right?

you don't need a resistor to change the spark timing anyways. just rotate the CAS, but make sure you have a timing light handy.

btw, what tires are you running for auto-x?

read the thread on this page. stay away from those "mod chips" there is no easy performance gains.
