do you think there is anything wrong with my engine?

it keeps making a strange whine at higher RPM's (not like 6500 tho) then its got strange smoke that appears and a clunking noise thats pretty loud. it feels like the engine is going to pop out. any ideas??

 

how is the oil pressure? Do you know it is engine related? Happen only at WOT, or while curising at that RPM? RPM, not speed related?
Last time a clutch job, with pilot and throwout bearing was done?
belt tightness checked? Do you have the air pump?


Can you be any more specific?
Clunk could be the engine mounts, but that wouldn't happen at a certain rpm.

well it usually happens at wot, its N/A and I got my air pump replaced, and the trans and clutch are all new. its the clunk that really scares me it not really a clunk but its loud!!
