I think I broke my axle
So I was drifting and all in all just having fun with the rx-7, clutch kicking and what now. Then all of a sudden I heard this clicking that is relative with speed. I thought it was a rock at first, then maybe a shock, but I am afraid of going over 20 mph. It def is a loud knock after each rotation...so how do I know if the axle is broken??
Can I grab it and shake it plus its hard to tell what corner its coming from, most likely the rear but it sounds like the front right.
Any help would be great.

when you say stem to stem you mean check the play in the axle by pushing it towards the hub and differential right??
I know the axle itself isnt in two pieces, I thought when the break its the CV joint itself not the axle shaft. That would take like 500hp and a 6k launch on slicks!

Checking it over stem to stern is a figure of speech. It means look the car over front to back for anything out of place
When checking for the axle check it up and down not in and out (in and out being pushing it towards the hub and differential ) Although extreme in and out would also indicate a pooched axle, a little bit is OK.
