I Think This Is Goodbye...
Sorry this is not in the lounge, but I think this is more for 2nd gen guys.
Well, I got denied for my loans. So all I can hope to get is however much I sell my n/a for, and however much extra I have leftover after grants pay for school, which won't be more than a few hundred. So, it looks like I need to be looking for a cheap car (like $2k)....Something that a TII is distinctively NOT. It's been fun, but I guess I have no real reason to be here seeing as I am not a rex owner anymore.
BTW, yeah, I found someone to buy my car.

So just get a cheap car? Owning a 7 isnt a prerequisite to being on the board

Similar situation here. I have the opportunity to buy a TII parts car for a TII swap. I would have just about everything I need. However the reality is if I buy it I won't be able to afford it if it breaks or needs freaking gas. Reality sets in everytime I think about buying it and it says "DON'T YOU IDIOT" "FINISH SCHOOL,GET A GOOD JOB AND BUY A REALLY NICE ONE." Anyways, its all about patience, being 19 thats something I don't have a lot of, but believe me if you can't afford just wait. OUR DAY WILL COME!
Atleast I have an N/A, but you'll get your car eventually, just not right now. Good luck with school, thats what will get you your car.

you'll get another 7 man, just give it some time college is important right now, and after that degree you'll make big bucks and be able to own a nice one

Hey man when I went to Rotary Preformance on their for sale board there was a black t2, it was black on black for 1 grand. The guy said it ran perfectly. The reason it was so cheap was because theres a niced sized dent on the front corner. PM me if you want the number to talk to him.

Get another N/A. I just bought a $700 one that runs great but looks like a pos for a winter car. I'd rather have a crappy one than none. Then you can work on saving money for a TII. It would be sad to see you go especially because you still owe me my chocolate bars! Things will work out just give it time.

If I do find a way to get a Rex again, it has gotta be a S5 TII. If I can't get one now, I will settle for a Miata or a 240Z. I will own a TII someday damn it!!!!!

Don't leave...if you do you might never buy another 7. Hopefully your loan advisor can help you out. In the past, mine didn't do **** for me, but now that I work for the financial aid office, things happen.

mmmaaann, i just bought a straight bodied 87 base with a TII engine, with N/A rotors and a SP for 200 bucks, the catch, had a bad coolant seal, but STILL all that for a measly 200 bucks. Im sure that you can find a block, or hell another car for cheap if you just stick with it. I bought my 86base all hooked up with full exhaust, 17" wheels, CD player and various mods here and there for only 1500 from a buddy of mine. Get a daily driver, say an old honda civic (you can find those for a dime a dozen) and work and go to school, save your money for drugs and that block. When you get enough, **** slap a bad *** SP beast in that thing and go to slingin' agian. Good luck man. We love you.
