I still have problems
i change the spark plugs, the wires , but i still have a miss at idle, what else do i need to check, that i can do i my garge??? and i reground the battery and ran a ground wire to the engine. but i still have the 3,800 rpm power loss.
A good thing to start with would be a compression test. You want at least 90 psi for each rotor. Also vacuum leaks are common especially on turbo II. I use a propane torch that I converted to attach a long vacuum hose to and with the valve slightly open, aim the hose around the intake gaskets, injector seals, etc. and see if the engine smooths out or gets rougher....it;s safer than spraying carb cleaner on the hot manifolds. Also check all vac hoses for cracks, some are hidden under the intake manifold.
