Yea, some might know my story about my car not running because there is no power to the fuel pump and no power to activate the fuel relay. I can't figure out why and some other rotary heads helped me and they couldnt figure it out either. I might just ghetto rig it to the battery by the end of next week if I can't figure it out. Last time I ghetto rigged it, the engine started up and did have a rough idle but started pretty easy. Well, I wanted to know the condition of my engine so I did a compression test on the engine cold with a piston compression tester (I obviously can't warm it up because I cant fix my electrical problem). I got 100 psi on both front and rear consistently. yesterday, i got 60 psi off a dying battery, but today i got 100 because i had a fully charged battery this time. So I know 100 is a pretty good conditioned engine, but it should be higher when it is warm. What do you think I will have when it is warm? Hopefully 110-115. Now I really can't wait to drive my car. I was iffy on the ghetto rigging of the fuel pump, but now im sure im gonna do it.

I was waving the same problem with my 87 TII, and all it ended up being was a grounding issue. I went through and replaced the AFM, Main relay, and fuel pump, but I still had no luck. Through the help of more experienced ppl I grounded and powered vehicle as per www.rotaryresurrection.com and wallah!! I know I am a noob, but this sounds just like what I have gone through over the last month. The major ground for the fuel injection system is underneath the stock ic bracket. I replaced nearly all stock grounds and then did all of the extra ones. Have you done any of this?

Were they just bolted down good or did you replace the factory grounds? I did not have any luck until I replaced them, and added the new grounds.
