I should know the answer to this.....

I have only looked at the exhaust of my 1990 GTU once since I got it and it was a long time ago, and here is my stupid question. Are the cats welded on or bolted on? I am going to catch some flack for asking this question.

damn i never thought about that either. but i am going to check tomororw since i have the biggest ******* corroded hole in my left muffler.

Thanks. I am trying to pass emmissions and didn't want to jack up my car when I get home at 6:30 am and be pissed that they are welded on.
