lbjimmy stated that this worked on his Series V parking lights with not being sure If It will work on Series IV. Man let me tell you It worked alright. Initially, their was a faint white glaze over the bright orange parking lights that awaits you after performing the procedure. I did not use a Dremol or a wax after the sanding. I quite simply did this:
1. 200 grade sandpaper for 5 minutes each lense. Besure to completly cover the surface EVENLY. Eitherwise you will get deep grooves which will not look visually appealing.
2.600 grade sandpaper for another 5 minutes for each lense. At this point you will see the bright Orange emerging!
3.1500 grade sand paper for 7-10 minutes alternating b'n wet/dry cycles for 2 cycles each starting with wet.
I didn't use a wax b'c quite simply - I didn't have any. Infact, they look great w/o It. AAlthough, I'm sure some wax will make It look even better.
All this took less than half hour and It was worth It. Unfortunately my DC Is not working so I do not have any pics!
