I Picked up my Motor today It is cool

i Picked it up it is a periphrial port motor for my GXL it will be my daily driver i will post pics sometime today..

Its very streetable. I've daily driven 3 different motors. Actually one 12a pp, one efi 13B peipheral, then one 13B n/a pp. The efi was the most streetable, but the 51mm ones where very tame too. CJ

peripheral run constant 13's... well with the setup i know... holley 4 barrel and racing beat intake... on 12a's... most of the guys i know wit 1st gen bridgeported 12'a holley 4 bbl header exhaust racing beat intake.. do about 14.1 wit stock tires............ thats amazing if u think about what other car does that with little engines?

Is it possible to run the stock EFI on a PP motor? Obviously bigger injecters / fuel pump, but is this streetable?

The stock efi would'nt do crap for a peripheral engine...as the port design would'nt allow the use of a stock intake manifold. The thing just would'nt flow enough fuel..not even close. CJ

It was 4500 for the Motor Minus the Intake and carbs it's has JDM mazda factory PP port rotor housings they are spendy and 900 for theinatke manifold..
