I need your honest opinion!
Hi, just recently bought myself an RX7 FC, it's an 1989 Model Series 4, with a series 5 motor and gearbox.
i have just put my order in for an M-Sports Body kit, which includes :-
Front Bumper
Side Skirt
Rear Bumper
50mm Rear Fenders
20mm Front Fenders
now i am going for the Work Meister S1 P2 Wheels, i am going to paint the Car Ferrari Yellow, originally i wanted the wheels to be Black Chrome. with a bit of snooping around on this site, i find a picture of Black with machined lip, imo it would look nice with the yellow here's a picture of it from another thread

So? What do you think with the combo of the Body Stying, Colour and Wheels ??...

Quick reply!
Most of the body parts i get are generally second hand, so i save alot of money. most of the time it is only basic reconditioning and repairs.
Bad2ndgen: No yellow? how come?... RX7 FC's don't look good in yellow or just the combo?

if you're going for the crazy japanese color matching then that's kewl...not going overboard (at least its not hot pink). if you're going for the american style, then just get silver colored wheels like everyone else, so black wheels with the polished lip would be a bit too much. IMHO, it'd be tight with that choice of wheels and color.

yellow can look good, but it takes some work. its not easy to pull off. those wheels are nice, though. hopefully those and the paintjob will compliment one another. personally, i would shy from the yellow, but thats personally. whatever color you choose, post pics of it!

I think yellow is too pronounced like a parot or something, it does not match the attitude of an FC. I love the wheels, the look is great they are great. If you want to stay with a simuliar color but with out all the flase go with a bronze or light gold with metal flake. Rember pick a light color of gold so that it doesnt stand out too much coupled with the wheels will look very tastfull and grown up.
