Question I need some fc engine info!!!

I currently own a fc 87 non turbo. I'm planing to swap the engine with a 91 turbo. What are the things in which I should worry about when doing this swap.? Are there any alternations in which would have to be made?

From what I have been reading it is ALOT of effort. For most people they are much better off selling the N/A and buy a Turbo II. However if you don't like that route at the TOP of the FC section there is a FC FAQ. In that thread at the VERY top it has this:

Can I swap a Turbo/Jspec/13BT/etc into my N/A?
Yes, check these links:

http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/turboconversion.htm

The FAQ has alot of helpful information, you might check there and use the "search" button in the upper right hand corner of the webpage to find your answers. Theres ALOT of information stored on this server.

Goodluck on your project.

thanks this help me out alot.
one final question though,
I'm currently having problems with the rear rotor. Mech says that the apex seals have dried out in the rear rotor, causing me to have half the power the car puts out. Would you recomend rebuilding it or engine swapping it. Which would prob hit my pockets le$$.

if you know what your doing Racing Beat sells a rebuild kit for 900, and a swap, the core is about 1200+ at mazda trix for an N/A, and 2000+ for a Turbo
