im trying to find double sided tape that will stick down my Tach and another gauge to my dash. i have tried double sided carpet tape.. but it just wont stick.. it will stick on everyhting except for the damn dash. - i need to find that double sided foam tape they supply with some stuff that requires temporary mounting solutions. - any idea what this is called, and where i could find some?

 

did you clean up the dash where you are putting the tape

 

They have that double-sided tape for truck toppers. That stuff is sticky as ****

 

Try 3M heavy duty all double sided tape. It's also weather proof I believe. It's a thick gray double sided tape.

 

Did you Armorall your dash? You may need to clean it with some prep-sol to get anything to stick.

You can find it pretty much anywhere. I buy mine from Office depot/office max.
