I need link to TPS Adjustment page!
Hi guys, just need the link to the page that tells you how to adjust your TPS with the Multimeter.
I just did mine, it cured my idle problems, but my car feels like its way MORE SLUGGISH now, as if it lost power or something. So I want to adjust it again but DO IT PROPERLY this time. I adjusted it to read 1K ohm at idle and it reads 5.04K ohm at WOT...but I'm pretty sure I didn't disable or engage something when I did it.

Um, if nobody responds I'll write up something for you in the morning.
I'm tired and my brain isn't functioning, but I know how to adjust the TPS with a multimeter...
Actually, run a search or two in this forum, you're sure to come up with something useful that I wrote on the topic.

What kind of idle problem? ROSHX7
What kind of idle problems did it fix?
Mine idles too low after it warms up, sometimes stalling when I come to a stop. I also noticed that when I step on the brake the
idle drops by ~200-250RPM getting lumpy in the process (it's real smooth at 750-800RPM, I wish it would stay there).
Also, when the guide talks about the 'cold start system' being
intact, are they talking about the disconnection of the wire at the lower right (I think) of the radiator?

But before I did the TPS adjustment on my car, it idled really rough! Always idled at 900rpm then drop to like it almost died and then picked up again and idled at 900rpm. It would cycle like this every 2 secs and all the time too! I thought it was my ignition, so I got an MSD box, changed my spark plugs and double checked all vaccum connections to eliminate any chance of a vaccum leak. Also I had major backfiring/popping problems on deceleration all the time. Nothing helped get rid of these problems, until the day I adjusted my TPS within specs.

I'm going to try...
I'm going to check the TPS adjusment to see if that helps, but after reading a number of posts I have come to the conclusions that I may have 2 other problems:
1) when the brakes are applied the idle drops, maybe a vacuum leak?
2) when the lghts, or other electrical load kicks in the idle drops, maybe the BAC is not working as it should by increasing the engine RPM to compensate for the additional load.
