Disconnected while doing clutch job, do no know what it connects to. would this cause the car to not start?

hm, any Idea what would prevewnt the car from starting after doing a clutch? It cranks fine. haven't checked fuel or spark yet, the last time I tried to start was with the cat out, just to see if the clutch would work. Now I'm worried.

maybe it's flooded. About how much ground clearnace is needed to do a clutch job on my 88' Turbo II, what if I put it on ramps, does the rear have to be raised as well? Would the duralast clutch from autozone, $120 dollars, work with some spirited driving and autocross? I'd like to hear opinions on that clutch from someone who owns or has driven a car that has it. Can anyone name all the tools needed? Thanks, sorry for threadjacking.
BTW would a front driver's fender from a 91' GXL fit my 88' T2? thnx

can you actually use ramps? My RX-7 scrapes the bumper of ramps..... um, I just maxed out my 2 ton jack and had enough room to do the clutch job.... yes, the rear needs to be raised because to remove the driveshaft (to get the tranny loose) you will need to mostly take off the exhaust.....
As for the question that is a ground that attaches to the engine via bolt on one side of the clutch slave cylinder. It may be vitally important to starting... afterall... it is a ground.

ive done it on ramps without raising the rear about 4 times...
And i DO NOT recommend the clutches from places like kragen...
shouldnt have really disconnected anything doing a clutch that would keep it from starting cept the starter and you said it was cranking, it most likly flooded.
